As Partner of the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l´Automobile), the FIA Foundation and the FIA Institute, Test & Training International develops innovative road safety and training approaches for wide-ranging target groups. Test & Training International contributes to the development and implementation of road safety measures with experience and an innovative approach.

Pilot driver training project East Africa
As part of a three year FIA Mobility Plan as member of the Young Driver Safety Training Working Group, Test & Training International has provided an in-depth report based on the experiences and activities of motoring clubs around the world. A pilot driver training project in developing countries in East Africa was launched to improve personal as well as economical driver habits. Several methods will be implemented; including a PC based driver training education programme.

Test & Training International is currently developing road safety training, awareness and marketing programmes for several countries and regions in the world including South America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. A key factor in the success of these programmes is in their localisation to increase the readiness of target groups to deal with the road safety issue more intensively. Together with governmental and non-governmental organizations the dramatic epidemic of traffic injuries and fatalities has to be reduced.

Working together with the local Partner and factoring in relevant local data, Test & Training International develops regional and national road safety measures and programmes. This can include the planning, construction and operation of multifunctional road safety training centres for all vehicle categories and target groups as well as special education programmes for children in schools.
Test & Training International’s portfolio includes driver search and assessment programmes for company fleets, special training programmes for fleets and governmental or private organisations (e.g. police, fire-fighters, ambulance, bus drivers, etc.).
Management and training personnel for the start up phase of road safety activities can be provided by Test & Training International to ensure proper implementation and to set necessary quality standards.
